I met david vanian from the damned and got his autograph.

last week i went to a festival in Ottery st Mary in Devon in the uk. The festival was called beautiful days orginised by the levellers and when we got there it was packed.
On the last day it rained alot and there was mud ankle deep! :mad:
We watched the damned play in a huge tent and after me, my dad and my little sister went around the back of the security gate and asked the guard what the chances of getting an autograph and he said it was a slim chance.
The guard told us they were doing autographs at a tent at the top so we walked through the mud and got muddy, after 30 mins we realised they wernt going to sign autographs so we headed back to the security gate to see what was going on.

Then as we were talking to the guard we saw the lead singer of the damned came out and we said hi and he said that he was just going to the porta loo which was next to us.
Then after he had used the loo he came over had a chat and shook our hands and signed us an autograph each. David vanian (the lead singer) was really nice and down to earth in the end the mud was too deep and out of 15,000 people (as far as we know) we were the only ones to bag autographs. {thumb2}
