I saw the topic "How do I write to my favorite actor?"
But not all people only write to actor. if I write to sport clubs, is it as same as write to actor?
I like football very much(English football). especially like Premier League and Serie A, I have some questions.
1 should I send a SASE?
2 should I send a short letter(less than a page)?
3 should I send a special letter? i.e.colourful letter paper, colourful pattern and so on
4 should I let team know how I like the team?(though the topic has no personality)

How do I write to football club and players?

Re: How do I write to football club and players?
Hi there! Good point, because many of us on this board, including myself, are really into our English football {thumb2}
Rule of thumb for me when writing to players (whether at Man Utd, Liverpool, etc), is to always include an s.a.e (I can't get my hands on return postage stamps, so go with s.a.s.e's!), and a photo of the player whether they return it signed or not. Its just all about increasing your chances.
I'd keep the letter one page long if they're very established within the team, for example a Wayne Rooney or John Terry. For signings that are new or aren't used frequently, you can ramble on a bit, as they'll most likely read your letter, whereas the big stars probably wont. I do one page, intro - a bit about me, body - why I like them, good points about their game, etc and conclusion - request for a personalised autograph and wishing them the best with their footballing and the seasons to come.
You can make it colourful and individual by all means!

You right in exactly the same way as you would to an actor/actress/musician/chef/f1 driver/tennis player etc etcchock.lee wrote:I saw the topic "How do I write to my favorite actor?"
