A couple of Via Venue Questions!

Hello,
I am new here and just had a few questions? Do most people respond to Via Venue? When do you send it? Should you send it before a movie starts filming or if it is a concert can you send it to soon and it will come back? Also, I know most people send stuff to sign but if it is just printed off will they sign it i have heard of some people not signing because of copyright laws, etc. Sorry for so many questions....Thanks!

Most celebrities will respond Via Venue but if the celebrity doesn't sign TTM he or she won't sign Via Venue either. For a movie you should wait untill they start filming. If you send it before that they might return it to you. For a concert your request can get to them 2 or 3 days before the show but it's not all the venues that pass along fanmail. Whem writing Via Venue you're better off sending them something to sign. Personnaly i always send the celebrity a picture from his or her movie so they can sign for it. If the celeb doesn't want to sign your picture he or she will provide a picture for you . Like when writing to Ewan McGregor he won't sign any Star Wars pics. If you send him a star wars picture he'll include a picture a send the one you send him to sign back to you unsigned. And remember never send something you don't wanna lose. Also remember to include A SASE if you want to increase the chances of the celebrity writing you back. Because not all of them will pay for the return postage.
