Writing help

Unread post by Mrs-OrlandoBloom »

Hi {love}
I'm sending for about 8 autographs and i want to send them all at once.
I have no idea what to write in the letters, I have a few lines, but i want to write at least 1 whole page.

And one of the people is about 18/19, and i really don't know how or what to put. (Aaron Sidwell - Eastenders Steven).
Have you got any ideas, please?

Also having trouble with what to write in a letter to Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), I have only really seen him as Mr. Bean, But i love him soooo much!! Hes so funny. But thats all i can think of to put!

Please, any suggestions.

Thanks so much.xxx {love}

Hi Mrs-OrlandoBloom! ;)

I moved this topic to the "Collecting Help" forum! {thumb2}

It is your letter, there is no right or wrong letter. {up} You can write about anything you want to tell the celebrity! :) Always remember to keep it short to one page only! ;) Celebrities receive hundreds of fanmail daily and they can't read every letter in detail, they only skim through each letter.

You can tell the celebrity about why you admire them, what your favourite movie/series is and why, etc. You can also tell the celebrity about yourself - celebrities likes to read about their fans! :D

Good luck Mrs-OrlandoBloom!! :mrgreen: If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask! :)

Regards,
Lizanne

One page is sufficient. For the introduction, just briefly introduce yourself, and state that you are writing to the celeb because you admire them, and would like an autograph. You can use the next two paragraphs to elaborate on how you came to know about them, why you like them, what your favourite show/movie/song of theirs is, etc. Then use your conclusion to once again remind them of the autograph you'd like, and to thank them for their time.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news here, but the majority of celebrities don't read their own fanmail - a secretary, agent, manager etc does that for them. For example in the case of Orlando Bloom, his agent Spanky Taylor will have skimmed through your letter, popped a photo in the Auto-Pen machine to be signed, and sent it to you. I don't feel celebrities like Orlando are worthy of the effort you put into those four pages {down}
